Thanks for visiting! Photography to me is capturing precious moments in time and creating ways to keep memories alive. I look forward to taking some shots for you.

My Story

I have always had an interest in photography. My husband is a huge enthusiast and he introduced me to the world of professional photography. This led me to take both photography and art classes at the University of Calgary (where I am originally from). I since gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and am now a stay-at-home Mom while my husband attends school here in Toronto. I actually have a Kinesiology degree but I am passionate about being able to spend time with my son until he is old enough to go to school. In the meantime, the idea of pursing photography on a professional basis seemed to fit perfectly - and thus, Give it a Shot Photography was started.

We had a professional photographer come to our home when our son was 1 month old to take pictures of him (for a substantial cost - at least relatively speaking in our case). Although we were happy with the quality, we realized that we took just as creative and unique photos. As such, my aim is to make quality pictures accessible to everyone including young families and students. Check out my packages and prices!
